In the middle of Kozjak and Mosor mountains, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea. It's just a few hours from other European capitals. The small peninsula where Split is located has a lot to offer to all visitors and travelers.
Croatia, as a Balkan nation is a must for anyone choosing to visit eastern Europe in a meaningful way. Its rich historical heritage shows off many monuments classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. On the other hand, Croatia is a country that is still recovering from a political war and is among the countries with the highest number of people living below the poverty line.
You will stay in a friendly and comfortable hostel, just 20min from the city center. The Hostel can accommodate up to 100 travelers who want to visit Split in a relaxed way. With its young and welcoming staff, you will feel right at home.
There are common areas such as the dining room/restaurant, living room and a spacious outside patio which is perfect for relaxing and socializing in the mornings, afternoons or evenings.
The hostel is in a neighborhood where you can find everything you need: local coffee shops, supermarkets, ATMs, and any utilities you will need, just around the corner. The Hostel is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop with buses running that can bring you to the city center. The Hostel is very connected to the region of Split, Dalmatia, connecting it to over one thousand islands extending along the Croatian coast.
ImpacTrip will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hostel every day. The hostel restaurant offers meals with fresh local ingredients for all volunteers in a very Croatian style and they are prepared to accommodate most diet restrictions such as vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, and lactose intolerant.
