Interns will have the opportunity to observe side-by-side Veterinarians and participate in their daily routine providing care to domestic animals and the occasional wildlife/exotic animals (foxes, birds, turtles etc). Our team consists of professional and experienced veterinarians actively involved “in situ” and “ex situ” animal care. All veterinarians and their staff members are bilingual and some of which have completed their veterinary training abroad, eliminating any language barriers and offering international expertise.

Our veterinary internship program offers veterinarian & pre-vet students the opportunity to gain top quality experience interning in their field. With valuable experience, you’ll develop your skills and understanding on animal care.

Eligibility requirement: For veterinary shadowing at least two years of undergraduate study at a university’s veterinary school must completed. For pre-vet interns this internship will be a mix of animal husbandry, animal care and veterinary shadowing depending on the level of hands on experience and at least 1 year of undergraduate studies completed with a relevant scientific major such as biology, animal sciences, veterinary sciences etc. Interns must have a genuine interest in veterinary and commitment to observation of both surgical and non surgical procedures

Internships start on Mondays (with arrival on a Sunday) and interns have a choice to participate to a program between a minimum of 2 weeks or up to a maximum of 12 weeks .

For this program the participants need to be physically fit and able to undertake manual labor, enjoy practical activities, feeding & caring  animals, work quickly and reliably both as part of a team and independently, have good oral and written communication skills, be safety aware.

As for Greece, perhaps there is no need for an introduction. It is one of the most popular and safest destinations in the world. Situated in southeast Europe it is blessed with sun, friendly people, rich cuisine and a truly unique landscape that spans from green forests to the deep blue sea. With its 2,500 years of history and its 1,400 islands there is plenty to discover in Greece and it will satisfy the most demanding visitor. Greece is one of the warmest countries in Europe with long, hot & dry summers and mild winters. The popular time to visit Greece is between May to September end. Occasionally heatwaves may occur with temperatures peaking (1-2 days) around 105°F / 41°C.
