- By helping them understand formalities that are required to engage in grouped saving entities such as table banking and other skills, they are able to start saving and get hard to acquire capital to either boost their existing businesses or start new ventures all the same.
- The trained women start establishing themselves into groups of 8 members to realize their individual and group business dreams through the help of our volunteers.
- We also focus on more practical business skills, Healthy habit skills, Communication skills, online marketing, Entrepreneurship Skills, Marketing, and essential record-keeping skills through the help of our volunteers, which will be impacted to enhance their ability to stand on their own and run businesses.

As their trainers we undertake to walk with them till we have TOTs from within their membership. This idea is usually replicated to as many as will be interested in joining the membership and new groups are recreated or replicated to new other groups.
Furthering their learned skills calls for financial interventions as the need arises if they have to stand out and grow. This can happen through startup capital financing and boosting their already initiated business. we welcome you to empower these women and young girls because we believe that Women's empowerment is the way to the country’s development. As a volunteer, you can help in training any of the above-mentioned topics, teach them, especially marketing skills, communications skills, business plan writing, Finance literacy, computer literacy, Digital marketing, bookkeeping, resource mobilization, investments, savings and even help in fundraising to support their capital to start the business and training equipment and materials.
Things to Note, as you are preparing to join us in Uganda
Communication
Immediately you arrive, it is reassuring to know you’ll be able to contact home and keep in touch with staff and volunteers during your stay. Here are some tips on communicating in Uganda
Mobile phone- It is a good idea to have a mobile phone with you while you volunteer. They allow you to reassure your family and friends to know that you will be contactable. A local SIM card will usually offer much cheaper local and international rates than your SIM from home. You can buy a local SIM from many shops in Kampala, and the Ugandan team or another volunteer can tell you where to go. You can buy or rent a handset after you arrive, or alternatively bring one with you. Some smartphones (including iPhones) will not accept SIMs from other companies, so please check before you travel.
Internet - The cheapest way to stay in touch with friends and family is via the Internet, email, social networks, and telecom services like Skype. Many volunteers also choose to write a travel blog, and volunteers who fundraise may have promised an email diary for their sponsors. There are two ways to access the internet in Kampala: on the internet, Wifi in homestays, and cafes, or using a modem stick plugged into your laptop.
Clothes
There are a couple of things to bear in mind when packing clothes for Uganda. The first is the weather - it can vary quite a lot, so it is best to plan for hot sun and pouring rain.
