About the program
Working in a daycare-center for children with imprisoned parents in Cochabamba/Bolivia
In Bolivia, for decades, children lived with their incarcerated parents in prison, clearly not a suitable environment for a child but rather
an environment full of violence, alcohol and drug abuse and other unhealthy backgrounds.
Typical day
In the morning, after you had breakfast with you host family, you get in the trufi (the common public transport) to your project. As always, there is rush hour and traffic but you get to chitchat with the locals.
