Join us and work hands on in rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned Wildlife in the unique Australian Wet Tropics.
During your stay, you will be involved with all facets of rescuing, rehabilitation and caring for injured and orphaned wildlife. All will be learnt in a safe friendly environment to suit your individual abilities. You will most likely encounter wildlife from the air, land and sea during your stay. ..

Most days we start early, our wildlife in care like their brekky from 7am onwards. We get everything fed, hopefully before a rescue call. Some animal husbandry, clean enclosures etc. then time for a coffee. Throughout the day wildlife need to be fed at around four hourly intervals so you will have ...

Days are unpredictable and varied. We have stated days Mon-Fri but we volunteer every day. These days are therefore flexible and you may help everyday and have time off when you so desire.First up in mornings is usually busy, and throughout the day animal husbandry is at certain times.

Flexible with start dates. You will be picked up at bus stop or have parking if have own transport. Greyhound bus departs Cairns & Townsville and arrival late morning/lunch time is recommended.
