Our history: we was founded in 2004 by Mr Viet Dang. Viet is a Vietnamese person and has a passion helping others in need. He worked as a volunteer English teacher at many disadvantaged schools in central Vietnam. During that time, he had the chance to work together with many international volunteers who came and supported Vietnam. He was extremely impressed by their passion in helping others in need too. With his understanding about Vietnam, in July 2004 Viet decided to set up Volunteer Vietnam organization that offers quality volunteer programs to international volunteers which the volunteers can contribute the most to Vietnam and has the most rewarding volunteer experience oversea.
Our mission: we operate to support the underprivileged people in Vietnam and we do this by connecting volunteers with local communities in needs : orphanages, social support centers and disadvantaged schools>
Values: Our volunteer programs are well-structured and organized by a dedicated staff team which gives volunteers a rewarding volunteer experience. Volunteers have chance to live in a comfortable volunteer house ( called Green House) where they will meet with many other volunteers and share your experience and make friends for life.
Goals: As we operate to help many disadvantaged people in Vietnam, our goal to get as many volunteers as possible to provide daily aids in education, healthcare and well-being for the disadvantaged people.
