Our Projects run throughout the year and Monday is our Arrival/Departure day. We request that you aim to arrive at our facility by 2:30pm on the Monday of your expedition commencing so that there is time to run through the induction material with you before dinner is served.
Please bear in mind that if you are not already a qualified diver this will take a minimum of 4 days to complete before you can join in on any of the underwater activities. The Open Water course (as well as other scuba courses) are facilitated by our partner dive school and can be paid for directly to them when you arrive on-site.
At present we limit expeditions booked through Volunteer World to a maximum of 6 weeks, however, extensions and applications for longer stays are possible.
Getting here
Lombok International Airport (LOP) is the closest airport, we can organise Airport transfer through local trusted drivers who will pick you up from the Airport (approx. 1hr 30min trip) and bring you to where our boat can collect you and take you on the 10 min trip to our facility. This is an additional cost (approx. £25 or $30) that you can pay to your driver directly through us.
If you are already in Indonesia and are travelling from Bali or elsewhere by boat we can also organise a driver to collect you from either Bangsal (Gilis port) or Lembar (main port) we can advise you of this cost if you decide to arrive by boat.
Once your booking has been confirmed we will send you a Welcome Pack via email full of information to help you plan your travels and stay - including visa information, travel advice and what you should bring with you!
