About the program

This beautiful project is aimed at supporting the precarious education of the children in the area. Thanks to your help, the children learn English, French and Spanish. There are also workshops on personal hygiene, drawing, music, psychomotor activities that help the development of the children.

The volunteer is in charge of supporting and offering activities and workshops to the children of the community. Activities are carried out in school reinforcement, maths, English, as well as playful activities, games, art, etc. In addition, the volunteer is involved in the maintenance and painting of the school and facilities for the children.

The dedication of the volunteers, their love and affection, are the indispensable support for these children, who welcome them with open arms.

The local coordinators always offer activities to do in your free time. They make sure that the volunteers have fun and get to know the country from the inside.

We support more than 40 children between 1 and 6 years old, and more than 50 children between 7 and 14 years old, i.e. about 160 families are helped.

In this programme you will get to know several local schools, as well as doing all kinds of activities, from school maintenance to playful games and cultural visits.

Come to collaborate and enrich yourself with this beautiful experience!

Typical day

A typical volunteer day begins with breakfast at the accommodation with all the volunteers. Volunteers head to the project, where they meet with the local coordinator to see what activities are planned for the day.

Throughout the morning each volunteer contributes to the assigned task. A stop is made for lunch and, depending on the needs, tasks are continued or free time is available.

The typical volunteer day starts with breakfast for volunteers at around 7:30/8. Volunteers then head to the program and meet with the local coordinator where they decide on the tasks assigned for the day. At lunch time there is a break and the volunteers have lunch. If there are no tasks for the afternoon the volunteer has free time until dinner.

The volunteer may visit nearby areas in his or her free time. In the evening, the group has dinner and prepares for the next day.

Morocco has many possibilities for your free time

To walk around Marrakech and its less expected corners is to go back in time. This city full of markets, gardens, mosques and the friendliness of its people makes this place unique. You can go to the Jamaa el Fna square, enter the Medersa Ben Youssef, or find the Saadis Tombs. You can't miss the souk, practice your bargaining skills or even get a little angry.

Likewise if you are in Marrakech, you can't miss the Jewish quarter, it is not very visited, but it is full of charm and colour.

Fez is one of the first imperial cities of Morocco and one of the oldest universities in the world. This city has adapted to the changes, but without losing its traditions while maintaining its most authentic lifestyle. You can walk through its streets and lose yourself in the incredible architecture of this city.

Tangier, located in the far north of the country, full of stories, myths and legends, in short, full of culture, is another place not to be missed.

About the project

Support in the cooperation and creation of social and environmental projects in communities at risk of social exclusion, through international volunteering.

Meet your organization

ADVENTURE VOLUNTEER is a non-profit organization, established in 2017. We collaborate in the social and environmental field through projects of conservation and protection of the environment and animals, as well as in the social part through projects of empowerment of women, community development, functional diversity, medical or teaching.

Our team of collaborators has a deep experience in international volunteer programs.  We know all the realities of the areas where we are working, collaborating and where we have a presence.

Our projects offer volunteers the opportunity to meet, share and participate in social and environmental projects. These projects demand educational and recreational activities that benefit communities of different cultures and customs, communities with economic difficulties and different degrees of social exclusion.
